There’s so much going on in Wiltshire this summer, we can’t wait to get out and about and visit...
Recognised as the world’s best and most extensive attraction of its kind, the Tank Museum at Bovington Camp, Dorset, is preparing to host a special show presenting a privately owned collection of World War Two vehicles.
The Wartime Military Vehicle Show is scheduled to take place on Saturday 22nd September, between 10AM and 5PM, and will feature a wide and rarely seen selection of tanks owned by people involved with the Military Vehicle Trust (MVT).
Along with a range of fascinating talks, tours, stalls, children’s activities and opportunities to take rides in some of the world’s most famous armoured vehicles, this special day will also be the last chance the legendary Tiger 131 tank anywhere in 2012.
Just one of the many great events taking place in the second half of this year which anyone planning their Dorset cottage holidays will be able to enjoy in this beautiful county, the Wartime Military Vehicle Show will not cost any more to attend than the museum’s standard admission prices and is sure to provide a fantastic day out for any history enthusiasts.
