The Dorset County Show is a highlight in the county year after year, and this year’s show is set for a grand turnout after impressive early ticket sales.

The Dorset County Show will be held on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September and organisers are confident that visitor numbers will reach the 60,000 mark. They have frozen early ticket prices since 2006 which is fantastic news for those on Dorset cottage holidays, who can enjoy a great day out for a fantastic price.

Attractions for this year’s event include a falconry display, a cookery demonstration featuring Mat Follas, winner of Masterchef in 2009, cake decorating and several livestock competitions. There will be plenty of stalls to browse and buy from that feature local Dorset produce, and lots of entertaining attractions set up throughout the day. The Dorset County Show is not to be missed this year.

Advance ticket sales are up 20% on last year’s figures so book soon on 01305 264249 or on the Dorset County Show website to avoid disappointment.
