Become a HIDEAWAYS owner
HIDEAWAYS is among the most respected holiday cottage businesses in the South of England. Since our humble beginnings in the seventies, with just a handful of holiday cottages in our portfolio, we are now a long established agency throughout the southern part of the country, with a great collection of quality holiday properties, perfect for a short break or longer holiday from Cornwall and the Cotswolds to Kent and Sussex.
Experience, people and values
At HIDEAWAYS we strive to deliver great bookings for our property owners every single week and weekend. Our experience, our people and our values are what sets us apart from other agencies in the UK. We consider our owners to be our partners and we're always available for a chat about cottages, bookings and any questions and issues they may have.
Strong online presence
Alongside our own website, we prioritize a strong presence with the market leaders in the holiday cottage industry, AirBnB, TripAdvisor and Holiday Lettings, in order for us to offer you the best of both worlds. At HIDEAWAYS we use modern technology when promoting your property, and with more than 400 different channels, the exposure is varied, large and wide.
SEO and marketing
Our work doesn’t stop with the properties and liaising with guests, we also stay on top and above our competitors in the virtual world with extensive SEO plans in place and by communicating through social media and to our extensive email database of past guests and those who have expressed an interest in holidays in the South of England online.
How much can I earn?
We are often asked by potential HIDEAWAYS owners “How much could I earn”? We understand that potential earnings are among the most important factors when deciding whether to invest in a holiday let, and while there are no set level for the rental income we can charge for holiday cottages (the amount depends on location, size, state of the property and decor, etc.), there are ways to maximise the revenue for a holiday property, like quality furniture, fixtures and fittings, and good images, all things we are happy to advise on when looking at each individual property.
Naturally there are also costs associated with the running of a holiday cottage. Some of which you would incur whether you used your property as a holiday let or not, some of which you only incur because the property is a holiday let. These include council tax / rates, utilities, insurance and repairs as well as property management, cleaning and letting fees.
A message from Nick House: "My experience of the sector spans 25 years and with an aptly named surname, my destiny was set at an early age. My previous roles have involved letting and managing luxury holiday property throughout the UK, in both an agency and consultancy capacity. I learned early on that the key to managing a successful holiday cottage agency, is building harmonious relationships with property owners and this remains at the forefront of Hideaways business ethos. We are looking to grow our lettings portfolio at a measured pace, ensuring that we are in a good position to generate the sales to occupy the additional beds and, that the quality of the new entrants complement our brand values".
