Introduction

Situated in a desirable residential area, within 10 minutes’ walking distance of Salisbury city centre, this Victorian town house has been extensively refurbished and modernised by its present owner whilst retaining elements of its original character.

Named as one of the top ten cities in the world to visit in the 2014 “Lonely Planet Guide”, Salisbury is renowned for its magnificent 13th century cathedral and surrounding cathedral close, described by Bill Bryson in “Notes from a Small Island” as “the single most beautiful structure in England and the close around it as the most beautiful space.”

Salisbury is also an ancient market town (the first charter was granted 800 years ago) with an extensive range of shops, pubs, restaurants, leisure centre and a thriving arts scene.

Beyond Salisbury and within easy driving distance, are Wilton, the ancient capital of Wessex, Old Sarum Castle (Old Salisbury), Stonehenge and the New Forest National Park. Bath, Winchester and Southampton are also easily accessible from here as is the World Heritage Dorset coast, about 30 to 40 minutes’ drive to the south.

Rear lobby with door out to the garden and access to the bathroom/wc with separate shower over the bath. Steepish, solid wooden stairs with handrail from kitchen to 1st floor landing. Double bedroom with kingsize bed. 2nd bedroom with zip & link beds offering a choice of super kingsize double or twin beds. Both beds have the finest Flaxby Collection hand-made mattresses.
