Tucked away up a small no-through road off Tisbury’s attractive village High Street, just minutes’ walk from local shops and pubs, this is an immaculately presented house in a contemporary style, put together with immense trouble and care by its owner to ensure maximum comfort and convenience for guests.

This mid terrace’s rather unassuming exterior belies a light, spacious and very well -appointed interior; three bedrooms, a bath and shower room, a generous sitting/dining room and a thoughtfully designed kitchen make this a very comfortable base for exploring this scenic and highly sought-after corner of southern England on the borders of Wiltshire and Dorset.

The surrounding countryside falls within the Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is dotted with picturesque villages, many with welcoming country pubs. There is marvellous walking very close to Tisbury around Fonthill Lake, plenty of good cycle routes, riding stables, excellent game and coarse fishing and several challenging golf courses. Visitor attractions are plentiful - the cathedral city of Salisbury, Georgian Bath, Stonehenge, Stourhead, the New Forest National Park and the South Dorset World Heritage coast all being within an hour’s drive.

Tisbury itself has a lot to recommend it. Being the largest village in Wiltshire’s Nadder Valley, it has a useful range of friendly, independent shops, pubs and tea rooms as well as a sports centre and open air swimming pool, all within easy walking distance from the house. The medieval, thatched Tithe barn on the edge of the village is now an arts centre for exhibitions, talks, films and classical concerts and at the bottom of the village Tisbury Station provides a very useful rail link to London (Waterloo).

Entrance from the parking area into a practical, well equipped kitchen. Downstairs shower room/wc. Study/quiet room. Spacious sitting room at the back of the cottage with ample space for dining and access out to the back garden. Three bedrooms - master bedroom with kingsize bed, a further double room and a single. Bathroom/wc with separate shower over the bath.

The enclosed garden at the back of the house has a paved area ideal for al fresco dining and beyond that there are two areas of lawn with flower borders.
