Devizes is a historic market town in the heart of Wiltshire with its roots in Norman Times. Some buildings still remain from the 15th century, one of which now houses a locally renowned hat shop. In Market Place you’ll find a variety of markets as well as plenty of independently owned shops, cafes and restaurants. Pubs such as The Crown and The George and Dragon offer good food and a range of beers. Local attractions include Wadworth’s Brewery, the Wiltshire Museum and the Kennet and Avon Canal.
