West Wittering, Sussex, Surrey & Kent Cottages
The Lodge is located in a superb position just a short distance from one of the best beaches on the south coast - West Wittering - where sandy beaches stretch for miles and miles and are as attractive in the cooler months of the year as they are popular in the summer months. A fantastic location, an old Georgian building dating back to the 18th Century, The Lodge is situated in a quiet spot in the grounds of the owner's farmhouse (about 100 yards away!) and is an ideal hideaway for a couple or small family. The beach is only 2 minutes drive away and Chichester 10 minutes in the car. Recently refurbished, you'll find it very fresh and light inside as well as comfortable. All this, along with bags of character and plenty of little touches, will make your stay even more enjoyable.
Outside is a very sweet 'cottage' garden that is private and for the guests use. Beyond the garden and within a mile is the waterfront at Itchenor (a pretty sailing village with good pub) and just a few miles further is the beach at West Wittering.
All at ground floor level.

There is much to see and do in the area including sailing and walking at Itchenor and Bosham, birdwatching in Chichester Harbour and walking on the South Downs. The cathedral city of Chichester with its Festival Theatre, museum, art galleries and shops is a 10 minute drive while Goodwood, with its increasingly busy calendar of events, Petworth House, Arundel Castle and the naval dockyard at Portsmouth (home to HMS Victory and The Mary Rose) are all within easy driving distance.

"We have had a lovely few days staying in The Lodge. It is very cute and cosy - we loved it. Thank you for the welcome hamper - it's a thoughtful touch. The location is perfect. It is so peaceful but not far from places of interest. We will definately recommend The Lodge to family and friends."The Knappitt family 2017-02-01
