Kirdford, Sussex, Surrey & Kent Cottages
Lying in complete tranquility at the end of a long farm track, The Summer House, is just one mile outside the West Sussex village of Kirdford and only six miles from Petworth. In fact, the setting couldn't be more idyllic, located as it is in the garden of a stunning Grade II listed, 16th century farmhouse. Offering guest plenty of privacy, this really is the perfect retreat for a couple wishing to explore this magnificent, and somewhat overlooked, part of southern England.
Once inside, you'll find all the rooms are in an immaculate condition and have been thoughtfully designed with guests' comfort very much in mind. There is a real sense of light and space, decorated as it is in subtle Farrow and Ball colours and furnished in a simple, contemporary style. A real bonus is the wood burning stove in the living room providing warmth and cosiness during the winter months.
We cannot recommend this special place highly enough and guarantee you'll feel blissfully relaxed after a stay here.
