Your nearest town is St Ives, just four and a half miles away, famous for its art (The Tate St Ives is based here) and full of characterful shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a picturesque fishing harbour in the heart of the town.
Further afield are Lands End and the Lizard Peninsula, St Michaels Mount (National Trust) and the creeks and inlets of the Falmouth and Helford Rivers, ripe for exploration. The historic port of Penzance is also worth a visit.
On the doorstep of Brunnion Barns are narrow country lanes still bordered by traditional Cornish stone hedges, rich in wild flowers in spring and early summer. If you like a spot of birdwatching then The Saltings and Hayle Estuary are the places to go. You are also in easy reach of the South West Coastal Path for walking and hiking.
Other activites to enjoy at Brunnion Barns are scuba diving, pottery or painting courses, fishing or horse riding which can be pre-booked via the owners so just let them know well in advance and they will do the rest.
