Point, Cornwall Cottages
Situated in the tiny creek-side hamlet of Point near Devoran, Lion Cottage is perfectly positioned to take full advantage of the tremendous views down the river Carnon towards Restronguet Creek. In fact it is so well located that, at high tide and sipping a drink on the window seat in the sitting room, guests might well think that they were actually afloat.
Enormous care and attention have been taken in upgrading this exceptional cottage to an excellent standard. The decor and furnishings are muted and stylish with guests' comfort very much in mind.
The result - truly luxurious accommodation for couples or a small group in a idyllic waterside setting, with views out to the creek from almost every room. Magical!

Falmouth, six miles away, has so much to offer keen sailors, and other visitors besides, with fabulous sandy beaches and good restaurants. The attractive county town of Truro, with its cathedral, fine Georgian architecture, independent shops and high street names, is only three miles away.
For a family day out, the renowned Eden Project is less than an hour's drive, as are several of Cornwall's finest gardens (Heligan, Trelissick and Lanhydrock to name but three). Then there's Land's End, the Lizard Peninsula and the countless beautiful beaches and magnificent stretches of the South West Coastal path - the list goes on!
Closer to home there is also much to explore in and around the Fal or Helford rivers as well as the Roseland peninsula with its great walking routes and coastal waters, popular with yachtsmen, windsurfers and canoeists alike.
