Camelford, Cornwall Cottages
Nestling on a secluded hillside just outside the tiny hamlet of Lanteglos and close to the North Cornish coast, Stone Barn has been imaginatively converted from a former farm building, creating a very attractive, family-friendly home from home.
Quirky in the sense that you'll find the bedrooms downstairs and the open plan living area above, the barn is inviting and cosy from the moment you step inside. With its vaulted ceiling and painted beams, you'll be delighted with space the living area provides, allowing you to relax, socialise and cook together with family and friends. From here you can step straight outside into a very beautiful and very private rear garden with decking, lawns, ponds and upper seating area.
An additional bonus is the upper floor of the garage, adjacent to the house, which not only offers guests additional sleeping accommodation but also a games area with snooker and table tennis.

Stone Barn is well-situated for easy access to the many attractions of the area. For the active there are excellent golf courses such as Bowood Park and St Enodoc links courses and plenty of walks and cycle routes, including the Camel Trail, which can be followed from nearby Camelford to the sea. The spectacular South West Coastal Path is nearby with its wonderful cliff scenery and superb coves such as Port Isaac and Port Gaverne. Numerous beaches are a short distance away including Trebarwith (ten minutes by car) and the well-known surfing beach at Polzeath (20 minutes by car). Sailing at Rock is a similar distance. The ancient castle ruins at Tintagel, the picturesque fishing village of Boscastle (National Trust) and Port Isaac are all within eight miles.
There is a wide choice of pubs locally, serving excellent food; and for a special treat try Rick Stein's seafood restaurant at Padstow, Nathan Outlaw at Rock or Port Isaac.
