The famous Garden House is close by, as are Morwellham Quay, Buckland Abbey (once home to Sir Francis Drake) and historic National Trust properties such as Cotehele. All the attractions of Plymouth and the beaches of South Devon and North Cornish coasts are an easy drive. Yelverton, 2 miles, caters for local shopping needs while Tavistock, an important market town, is 8 miles away.
