Wiveliscombe, Exmoor Cottages
The Studio is located in the pretty, rolling countryside between Exmoor and the Quantock Hills, one mile from the small town of Wiveliscombe. Lying on a quiet country lane, this charming property is attached to the owners' farmhouse but has its own driveway, parking area and entrance. Inside, the owners have created a really appealing space with a galley kitchen, a large, bright living area with sitting, eating and sleeping areas, plus a modern shower room. Step outside and you'll find plenty of garden to explore with tremendous views over the fields to the south. Overall this is a really welcoming and comfortable base from which to discover more about this unspoilt part of West Somerset and is ideal for a couple looking for the perfect hideaway.

What a fabulous location for exploring this varied and interesting region! The area is criss-crossed by tranquil footpaths and cycle routes and yet it is only 20 minutes from the M5 at Wellington, just after the exit for Taunton. Wiveliscombe is a thriving market town with great pubs and indpendent shops to discover. Situated in the Brendon Hills, the town is a few miles from the south eastern edge of Exmoor National Park. Well worth a visit are Wimbleball Lake, Dunkery Beacon, Dunster and its Castle and for steam enthusiasts, the West Somerset Railway which runs between Minehead and Bishops Lydiard.
"We had a 5 night stay at this immaculate cottage and loved every minute of it! The owners were lovely and the location was stunning, a perfect view in a peaceful location. The local town was only a 20 minute walk through fields and footpaths and the location was perfectly placed for our days out. Our dog absolutely loved running around in the huge field and we were all made to feel extremely welcome. We will definitely be returning very soon!"Guest's review on TripAdvisor 2017-05-05
"We were very delighted to have been able to rent the Studio, Lower Grants in July and August 2016. It is a very clean and well maintained little cottage, with pretty surroundings (hills with sheep) and charming views. The owners are very nice and friendly people. The cottage is well equiped with a kitchinette to enable you to cook. We do recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to spend a restful and peaceful countryside holiday."Guest's review on TripAdvisor 2017-01-30
"The Studio has fresh new facilities and a wonderful outlook. It is off the beaten track. Our prerequisite was to make sure a decent local pub was nearby and Wiveliscombe did not disappoint on that either. The Studio is a decent 20 mins walk down country lanes to the pubs and shops. So if you want a bolt hole hideaway for a weekend or a week, then I'm sure you will be happy here."Guest's review on TripAdvisor 2016-07-01
