Upstairs you've a great choice of rooms offering plenty of space and flexibility for a family or group of friends. The private garden is a great size for relaxing in the loungers if you just want to sit back take in the views all around. Alternatively you can walk through the Local Hangman's Wood for miles or stroll to the local pub in Blaisdon.

Close to the Forest of Dean, this is a wonderfully peaceful location. With wildlife in abundance and plenty of wonderful walks right on your doorstep in the local Hangman's Wood, there really is so much to see and do in a great area for a family holiday.
Symond's Yat Rock on the River Wye, with its spectacular views spanning several counties, is half an hour's drive away and you can also hire a canoe in the village or enjoy a riverside drink at one of the pubs. Plenty of walks and cycle routes can be found in the Forest of Dean itself which is a magical setting with its ancient mines and 300 year old oak trees. From nearby Lydney you can take a trip on the newly opened Dean Forest Railway (steam locomotive to Parkend).
There are many historic sites to explore in the region - the Welsh border castles, Tintern Abbey, the cathedral city of Gloucester - while the Cotswolds, Brecon Beacons and the Malvern Hills are all within easy driving distance.
For a more modern day out with the family you are only an hour away from Cardiff with its bustling Cafes and shopping centres and not forgetting the Cardiff Bay and the Beach a bit further on at Barry Island!
For local shops, pubs and restaurants, Newnham On Severn is only three miles away. From here you'll find excellent views of the river (watch the surfers on the famous Bore!) and almost immediate access across the fields to the Severn Way footpath.
