The Stables is a particularly spacious detached barn conversion set on a quiet lane within a three minute drive of Blakeney. You'll love the far-reaching views across the fields to the Severn Estuary which are spectacular at any time of the year. Thoughtfully converted by the owners, the property retains some of the original beams and woodwork and yet it has all the features you'd expect from your holiday home, including a roomy, up-to-date kitchen with plenty of cupboard space and modern conveniences. Outside there's an attractive patio area and garden, bursting with colour in the spring and summer months. All in all, a very welcoming cottage to return to at the end of a busy day.

The Stables is situated beside a quiet country lane just outside the village of Blakeney and with fine views of the River Severn across adjacent fields. The detached property provides an attractive and very comfortable base for enjoying the wide range of activities available in and around this attractive part of Gloucestershire. The location of the cottage, close to the Forest of Dean, gives easy access to the extensive network of walks and cycle paths in the area, including Offa's Dyke Long Distance Footpath. Canoeing and fishing are available on the River Wye and carp fishing next door to the cottage. You'll find a huge variety of places of interest an easy drive away such as Chepstow (castle and racecourse), Tintern Abbey and Symond's Yat Rock, as well as the cathedral cities of Gloucester and Hereford, the Brecon Beacons and the Cotswolds.
