The medieval, thatched Tithe barn on the edge of the village is now an arts centre with a varied arts programme and at the bottom of the village, Tisbury Station provides a very useful rail link to London (Waterloo).
If you're feeling active then there are wonderful walks, cycle routes, riding stables, excellent game and coarse fishing and several challenging golf courses all round the local area, which falls within Cranborne Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Visitor attractions are plentiful with the cathedral city of Salisbury, Georgian Bath, Stonehenge, Stourhead (National Trust), the New Forest National Park and the South Dorset World Heritage coast all being within an hour's drive.
