Set just 1.5 miles south of the historic market town of Romsey, The Courtyard Wing offers delightful accommodation set within the grounds of the owners' substantial period property.
Laid out on one level, the property provides a relaxed space for couples (or those with a young child) to enjoy the many attractions that the area has to offer.
From the courtyard outside the property, surrounded by period and listed buildings, you feel that you have stepped back in time hundreds of years.
Enter via the modern and recently refurbished galley kitchen, and into a light and airy sitting room (please note: there is a z bed available at no extra charge for children aged up to 3 years).
The bedroom is equipped with a standard double bed and gives access to the ensuite bathroom, with bath (hand held shower) basin and w.c.
Outside there is a small patio with table and chairs, and beyond this are the owners large gardens for you to enjoy.
Locally, Romsey offers many amenities, including a broad range of shops, restaurants and inns.
A little further afield is The Test Valley, highly regarded for both its walking and fishing.
For keen gardeners, visit the world famous collection of trees and shrubs at Hilliers Arboretum.
Romsey Abbey is also close by.
The area has plenty of attractions for all ages, especially Paulton's Park (with Peppa Pig World) which is less than 2 miles away, and within easy reach are the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury.
The New Forest is a short drive away, which covers almost 145 square miles and supports hundreds of free roaming ponies, cattle and deer.

The vibrant Hampshire market town of Romsey can be found on the banks of the picturesque River Test, coveted by fly fisherman as one of the country’s finest chalk fishing streams. The 44-mile long-distant walk of The Test Way winds past Romsey and many other pretty villages, historic churches and country houses, following the course of the river, down to Eling on Southampton Water. The centre of Romsey offers visitors a fine selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs to choose from, and a colourful three-day market provides the perfect place to peruse local produce. A visit to Romsey’s Noman abbey or to the home of the Mountbatten Family at Broadlands is a must. Nearby, the National Trust’s Mottisfont Abbey sits in attractive riverside gardens and is well worth a day out. Alternatively, take the short drive to the New Forest National Park, swathed in pretty heathland and grazed by wild ponies, cattle and deer. Enjoy a spot of retail therapy at Southampton’s West Quay Centre or marvel at the stunning cathedrals at Salisbury or Winchester, each easily accessible.
