“The property was very clean and central.”

We were a little disappointed at how basic the furnishings and equipment were. The bathroom was cramped with little space to put anything and the toilet felt like a kitchen cupboard and was too small for comfort. We appreciated the car parking permit but parking near the property was very difficult. We would not stay in this property again despite its central location.

The property

Rojoy is a classic period terraced cottage located a short walk from the centre of Salisbury.

Its position, overlooking Greencroft Park, is peaceful and convenient and ideal for those people looking for a bolt hole when visiting the city.

We love it!

offers a delightful retreat in the heart of Salisbury and overlooks a park (Greencroft) with its enclosed play area for children.

For families and friends alike, Rojoy really is the perfect spot to escape to in this vibrant and historic Catherdral city.

The owners have taken great care in the refurbishment of this 200 year-old town house and the result is welcoming, homely and spotlessly clean.

The ground floor has two large and light rooms, whilst upstairs are three good sized bedrooms.

The space is simply furnished, uncluttered yet attractive, the colours are subtle and tasteful - in our view it's a very good choice for a group coming to Salisbury.

We're confident that after spending time here, there's a good chance you'll want to return again and again!

About the location

SALISBURY

Andover 17 miles; Southampton 23 miles

The medieval city of Salisbury is the jewel in Wiltshire's crown, dominated by the majestic 13th century Gothic cathedral. The cathedral offers 750 years of history including Britain's tallest spire, the world's best preserved original Magna Carta, and Europe's oldest working clock. The surrounding cathedral close, full of architectural gems, is bordered by the River Avon and ancient Chilmark stone walls. The city offers historic streets with charming half-timbered buildings, traditional pubs, characterful shops and a twice-weekly market. Or, stroll along the Town Path and take in the awe-inspiring views across the water meadows towards the cathedral. After dark, there's a thriving arts scene, including one of the country's leading repertory theatres, a lively arts centre, cinema and a wealth of independent restaurants. Should you want to explore further afield then a short drive from Salisbury takes you to Stonehenge, the National Trust's Stourhead House and gardens, majestic Wilton House, as well as the New Forest National Park, and the Hampshire and Dorset coasts. There's so much to see and do in Salisbury and surrounding area that your only concern will be finding the time to do it all!

Please note the on street parking is for 1 car with a digital parking permit, which can be arranged with the owner ahead of your arrival.
