Spending any time within the walls of this extraordinary, historic, Grade II* house is an utterly unique experience.

Full of atmosphere and character, the principal rooms exude a tremendous sense of history with many fine examples of period features.

Sixpenny Handley, or Handley as it is known, is a village in north east Dorset situated on Cranborne Chase ten miles north east of Blandford Forum and 4 miles from the Wiltshire border. Sixpenny Handley has a good selection of shops, pubs, a Post Office, a village hall and a number of recreational areas to enjoy. The village is close to the hamlet of Pentridge which hosts beautiful scenery, walks, footpaths, St Rumbolds church and a character Village Hall. Nearby Damerham can be found on the Hampshire side of the borders with Dorset and Wiltshire, and lies in an attractive Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, through which flows the River Allen.
