“Mr”

Stayed here in late August and we had such a great time. The two bedroom apartment was huge, with high, vaulted ceilings and beautiful sash windows. It was immaculately clean and a wonderful way to relax and unwind. We were a little cautious upon booking as we'd always booked a cottage but the house was so large you never really heard a thing. The vast grounds were so picturesque and I must say a big thank you to Emma for letting my sons play football on your astro court, even during dusk! Would ...

The vast grounds were so picturesque and I must say a big thank you to Emma for letting my sons play football on your astro court, even during dusk! Would we go back? Most certainly. It is in a great location, not far from the Cotswolds yet we found North Wiltshire just as pretty. Thanks again Emma for a lovely stay

“Lovely apartment with two lovely bedrooms both with ensuite, good showers.”

Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, we actually used the kitchen for a lounge as well because it was such a lovely room. Emma the owner is lovely, from first contact she was very helpful and made us feel very much at home. The horses, dogs, and chickens are all very friendly. The house is away from the road so is lovely and peaceful ( no road noise...... bliss) if you want a lovely place to stay in a quiet location with lovely views this is it.

The property

Hatton's Lodge is a spacious holiday home located in a rural spot in the southern Cotswolds.

Spread across three levels the accommodation is large and inviting and with outstanding views in every direction.

The property has two bedrooms and three bathrooms so it is just as likely to appeal to a family as it is two couples looking for a break in the area.

The nearest town is Cirencester, which is a popular spot and with a great selection of shops and restaurants, while nearby are some lovely villages with excellent country pubs.

The property is finished to a high standard with all modern fixtures and fittings, and very comfortable for up to four guests.

Minor building works to the main house porch will commence on the 27th August to the end of December 2019.

Please be aware there may be noise disruption during the week between 8am & 5pm.

Kitchen / Diner is on the first floor, fully equipped and with double aspect
On the second floor (there are two sections up two separate sets of normal stairs) there is a Living Room with two sofas and armchair and TV
There is a Utility/Bathroom with washing machine plus bath, shower over, WC and washbasin
Up the second set of stairs from the Kitchen, are the two bedrooms
Kitchen well equipped with electric hob, oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and ample storage plus dining table and four chairs, plus TV and armchair. Living Room with TV & ample seating
Wifi
Utility Room with washer dryer. Bedrooms are spacious and with period features
Bed linen and towels incl within rent

Outside there is a large garden with a table and seating (shown on pics) and also a new tennis court available for use
Sorry No Pets, but owner has her own dog on the premises.

MALMESBURY

Chippenham 11 miles; Cirencester 13 miles; Bath 23 miles; Tetbury 5 miles.

Dating back to the Iron Age and reputedly the oldest borough in England, the pretty market town of Malmesbury is located on a hilltop in the southern Cotswolds. Malmesbury is steeped in history and offers visitors over 400 listed buildings, a 15th century Market Cross, a ruined 7th century Benedictine abbey, an annual carnival and many independent shops, cafes and traditional pubs. Abbey House Gardens, home to 'The Naked Gardeners' can also be found in Malmesbury (Note: The gardeners are clothed during normal opening hours) and the annual Womad Music Festival is close by at Charlton Park. The area offers many country houses, including Rodmarton Manor and Gardens, and Chavenage House, a fine example of a Cotswold manor unchanged for 400 years. Just a short drive away is The Cotswold Water Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, covering 40 square miles and offering a wide range of activities, including boating, waterskiing, fishing, cycling, golf and horse riding, plus Bath, Cirencester and Tetbury are all within easy reach and well worth a visit.
