    “Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - being super critical, a heated towel rail would be good and out of date instructions relating to the Covid period have been left in place by the front door which was a little confusing.”

The property

This superb, thatched cottage is located in the gorgeous village of Stanton, some 3 miles from Broadway.

Set out over two floors, this reverse level cottage provides comfortable accommodation for both friends and families in one of the most sought-after Cotswolds' destinations.

On the ground floor are two very comfortable double bedrooms and a separate family bathroom, comprising of bath, with shower over, wash-hand basin and WC.

On this floor you will also find the washing machine located in a separate utility cupboard off the hall way.

Upstairs is a wonderful open-plan lounge and dining area, with large sofa and armchairs, as well as a more formal dining area.

You will also find the well equipped kitchen with all the expected facilities that a cottage of this quality has to offer, including fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven.

The feature spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine level, for those moments of quiet relaxation. The enclosed patio to the front of the property provides space for those times when alfresco dining can be enjoyed.

A walk around the village of Stanton will feel as though you have travelled back in time hundreds of years, as every effort has been made to preserve the peace and tranquility of this glorious setting.

Stroll up to The Mount Inn and take in the breath-taking views of the village and beyond.

Visit the National Trust properties of the area and enjoying many walking and cycling routes.

There is plenty to do in Cheltenham Spa, including shopping, eating out and catching one of many events taking place throughout the year.
