The property

As you might guess from the name, The Lock Keeper's Cottage once housed the keeper whose job it was to operate the lock on the Kennet and Avon canal, right Outside the door.

You may be just as happy with the grandstand view of the narrowboats pottering by, which this cottage gives you.

Either way if you're looking for a short break, or longer, right by the water's edge, then this cottage should be top of your list.

Renovated to a good standard, the cottage now offers cosy accommodation with high ceilings and period features such as its lovely stone fireplace.

Equally suited to a summer holiday or a winter break, you will not be disappointed with the quality and comfort you can experience in this delightful cottage.
