There’s so much going on in Wiltshire this summer, we can’t wait to get out and about and visit...
There is a wealth of things to do when staying in Dorset cottages and this weekend is no exception. The Tank Museum in Bovington is exhibiting a Wargamers Weekend starting on Saturday 7th July until Sunday 8th July, from 10am until 5pm both days.
The Tank Museum is home to the world’s largest collection of tanks and armoured fighting vehicles so makes for a fascinating visit any day. This weekend the museum exhibitors are putting on an extra special display as they play war games on the museum floor. They have an extensive programme of live action displays planned in order to show visitors the brutal strength and power possessed by these armoured vehicles.
On display throughout the year are armoured vehicles from all countries and eras, from the first tank ever built to the modern Challenger II, well worth taking a look at whilst there for the Wargamers Weekend. Tickets are £12 for Adults and £7.50 for children up to age 16, except under 5s who go free, an excellent price to see a Designated Collection of National Importance.
