The scenic Warwickshire town of Stratford-upon-Avon is preparing for the return of its popular River Festival, which this year will be taking place on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July.
Entry is completely free, and both days will be packed full with all sorts of events guaranteed to provide fun and entertainment for all the family.
There will be live performances on the recreation ground’s bandstand area throughout the festival, with folk, orchestral and big band groups – along with artists from other genres – all taking to the stage.
With other attractions including belly dancing, punting, drumming, martial arts and fireworks, all visitors are sure to find something to enjoy, whatever their tastes.
The 2012 Stratford River Festival will be the perfect way for anyone staying at one of the English country cottages in or around the town this summer to explore the best of what this picturesque destination has to offer.
