Liberty is a beautiful Alaskan Bald Eagle who shares his name with Liberty’s Owl Raptor and Reptile Centre – in fact it’s named after him. He shares his home with a large number of birds of prey, Vultures, Hawks, Falcons and Owls, and at the centre you can learn about their many personalities and interesting aspects of their lives and species. Kids love Liberty’s and love to get up close and personal with the many wonderful birds, most of whom can be seen in daily flying demonstrations and the many indoor and outdoor display facilities. At Liberty’s Owl Raptor and Reptile Centre you and your kids are offered a rare opportunity to see some truly amazing birds in action, it’s great for a day out with kids in The New Forest.

National Motor Museum, Beaulieu

Beaulieu is an award-winning experience where one ticket grants access to a great many attractions, all perfectly suited to families and children. In the National Motor Museum, there are over 250 vehicles on show from F1 racers and land Speed Record Breakers to classic cars of the 60s 70s and 80s. Ideal for rev heads of all ages! New for 2016 there's the Evolution Of Motoring exhibit which will take the kids from the origins of automotive technology all the way into the potential future of it, with fun sides including chatting to a crash test dummy!

The New Forest Reptile Centre

Are you the kind of person who likes their pets slithery and scaly rather than fluffy and furry, then The New Forest Reptile Centre is for you. Here you can experience all of Britain’s reptiles in one place, like adders, grass snakes, smooth snakes, lizards, frogs and toads. All of the reptiles are kept in enclosures that mimic their natural environment, which means the best chance of seeing them is on a warm sunny day! Kids and grown up alike love a day out at The New Forest Reptile Centre.

Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary

Deer viewing at Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary isn't guaranteed, but as the herd is fed by the friendly local New Forest keeper daily between April and September, you’re likely to get to see the many beautiful animals when you visit this sanctuary. Some of the deer at Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary are a rare white, an uncommon colour for fallow deer but one that at least make them nice and easy to spot! There is a wooden viewing platform just a short distance from the main Bolderwood car park, so easy to reach even for families with small kids and those in strollers.

Longdown Activity Farm

Longdown Activity Farm is an absolutely fantastic day out with kids in The New Forest.

Paultons Family Theme Park

Arguably the most famous of attractions in The New Forest, Paultons Family Them Park is an amazing place to go with your little ones. Here you have the opportunity to get really, truly close to the cute, pink friend of all kids 5 and under, Peppa Pig. The award-winning Peppa Pig World has 7 themed rides including Peppa’s Big Balloon, Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight and George’s Spaceship Indoor Playzone, where kids can fling themselves into the ball pool or play actual musical instruments.

The New Forest Wildlife Park

Meet indigenous species in their natural surroundings as you venture down the woodland trail, catching your breath as you spot animals in their natural habitat. Set in 25 acres of the New Forest there is a vast range of animals to visit, from loveable Asian short-clawed otters, mighty European Bison to the magnificent Red Deer to name a few.
