Are you planning on visiting Hampshire and The New Forest this summer? You’re in for a treat with all...
Leeds Castle near Maidstone is a popular attraction with those staying in holiday cottages in Sussex at any time of the year, but visiting the castle at Christmas is extra special. Last night was the first night of the Christmas Past event, an exciting evening of fun for all that will continue until 23rd December.
Christmas Past will see Leeds Castle and its grounds lit up like never before, a sight all the more spectacular thanks to the darker evenings. Visitors can walk around the grounds from 3.45pm to 8pm, enjoying a stroll around the illuminated Woodland Walk before climbing aboard the Victorian train to the Fairfax Courtyard.
The fun doesn't end here; there will be a number of stalls selling festive food and gifts, plus there will be lots of exciting street entertainment and the singing of Christmas carols. Santa Claus and his real reindeer will be paying Leeds Castle a visit too complete every evening, and each child can see Santa and receive a special gift. This great festive event is not to be missed and tickets are £20 for adults, £15 for children or £60 for a family ticket.
