You’re not going to run out of exciting things to do and places to go in Dorset, but when...
Anyone looking for some festive fun to kick off their holiday in Wiltshire can find the perfect event in Royal Wootton Bassett tomorrow evening (7th December) when the town's Christmas lights and late night shopping get started. The Royal Wootton Bassett Christmas Lights Event begins at 6pm in the High Street and is not to be missed.
The evening starts off with a bang as Santa Claus comes to town with his reindeer and two special guests at 6pm. Those staying in Wiltshire cottages will get a rare opportunity to see Santa take a break from his North Pole workshop and turn on the Christmas lights in Royal Wootton Bassett.
The fun really begins once the town is lit up; there will be plenty of street entertainment, workshops, a fairground, gift stalls and hot-food vans and, of course, Santa will be spending a bit of time in his grotto before heading back home. There is plenty to get stuck into at the Royal Wootton Bassett Christmas Lights Event, so be sure to keep tomorrow evening free.
