There’s so much going on in Wiltshire this summer, we can’t wait to get out and about and visit...
A popular seasonal fair will be returning to Dorset this autumn, providing visitors to the county with a great opportunity to enjoy the best of what the countryside has to offer at this beautiful time of year.
Formerly known as the Apple and Harvest Day, the new ‘A Taste of Autumn’ event will be taking place in and around the stunning Georgian country house situated within the grounds of Kingston Maurward College near Dorchester on October 6th.
With some of the day’s many highlights set to include a farmer’s market, cider making, apple and fruit tree displays, trade stands, tractor trailer rides, an apple cake competition and much, much more, this truly is the best way to herald the beginning of what are perhaps the most picturesque months in the calendar.
This event is sure to provide those taking Dorset cottage holidays this autumn with a relaxing and rustic day out to remember, ensuring that those who attend leave in no doubt that they do not need to be in the area during the height of summer to enjoy a brilliant getaway.
