The Cornish seaside town of Newquay is preparing to host the 10th anniversary of its famous Fish Festival, which will be based in the harbour area between the 14th and 16th September.

Amongst the county’s favourite culinary and craft events, this much-loved celebration features a whole host of diverse attractions and showcases, such as live cookery demonstrations (traditionally the most popular of the festival’s events), sandcastle competitions, performances from local choirs and bands, which this year will also include a ‘Last Night of the Proms’ spectacular, the Newquay Zoo road show, many arts and craft stalls, and much more.

Just one of the many fantastic events that are taking place throughout the county in the second half of the year which those staying at holiday cottages in Cornwall will be able to experience during their stay, the Newquay Fish Festival is always well worth visiting by anyone who enjoys trips to the coast and great quality seafood.
