Are you planning on visiting Hampshire and The New Forest this summer? You’re in for a treat with all...
Not only does the New Forest have a wealth of attractions and spectacular scenery to enjoy, but there is a busy schedule of events too – when staying in holiday cottages in the New Forest in November, there’s plenty to keep everyone occupied.
Celebrate a belated Bonfire Night on the 8th November at the charity fireworks as hosted by the New Milton Round Table. Those staying in cosy holiday cottages can head to Fawcett’s Field to enjoy an impressive bonfire from 7pm, before a spectacular show of fireworks at 8pm. Now in its 51st year, the event is sure to be huge, so make sure to wrap up warm and come along for a Bonfire Night to remember.

Colourful and fun, the ‘Simply Smart’ rally is an event for those interested in vehicles, or a love of tiny Smart cars. Now in its fourth instalment, the event will take place at Beaulieu Parkland on 9th November, with a wide range of Smart cars on display. Whether you own one yourself and would like to take part, or simply want to take a look at the variety of models, which range from the standard ‘ForTwo’ to the limited edition ‘Crossblade’, it’s a great day out for all ages.
Located just a short drive from the New Forest, a visit to Bournemouth’s Christmas Festival is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit. Opening on 13th November, the festival is inspired by the traditional German markets, and those attending can enjoy features such as an Alpine Bar, Christmas decoration stalls, exhibitor chalets and authentic German cuisine. Families can wander through the market, marvelling at the snowy decorations and colourful Christmas lights, while couples can enjoy a mulled wine and a Bratwurst sausage.
