Anticipation for the Devizes Food and Drink Festival 2013 is building after more announcements of celebrity chef appearances were made this week. Those staying in Wiltshire cottages between 17 and 25 May will have the chance to pick up some tips from leading columnist and food writer Xanthe Clay, the latest famous face to be confirmed for the event.

She will be joining a number of other expert chefs who will be demonstrating their culinary expertise, including Chris Staines, from Bath's Alium Brasserie, and Joseph Croan, former chef at Marco Pierre White's London restaurant L'Escargot. Admission is free to the demonstrations and all three of these fantastic cooks will be taking part in a Masterclass Demonstration on 18 May at the Corn Exchange.

As well as these highlights, a number of presentations, lectures and tastings have been organised for both locals and visitors to enjoy, making the Devizes Food and Drink Festival 2013 an absolute must for those enjoying a holiday in Wiltshire this May.
