Make your own sausages at Occombe Farm

The stress of Christmas and the beginning of the New Year has meant that many of us are looking forward to spending a holiday in English country cottages in some of Devon's top beauty spots, and anyone looking for a fun day out can find one at Occombe Farm Cookery School.

Buying special sausages from the butchers is undoubtedly a luxury, so why not learn how to make your own and take the skills of making luxury sausages back home with you? The Sausage Making Workshop at Occombe Farm Cookery School will be led by a professional butcher from Gribbles Butchers who will be sharing his expert knowledge of making top quality sausage on 27th January and 17th February.

Visitors can get stuck in by making a selection of different sausages, using plain pork, sweet chilli, pork & leek, Lincolnshire, Toulouse and spicy Spanish for an extra special treat for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Starting from 10am-4pm, the £65 cost of the workshop includes cooking up some of the sausages for lunch as well as 5lb of sausage for each person to take home.
