There’s so much going on in Wiltshire this summer, we can’t wait to get out and about and visit...
After much anticipation, Longleat Safari and Adventure Park is set to open two new attractions, which are sure to be well received with the thousands of visitors who flock there.
Unveiled as part of a summer investment project believed to have cost around £7 million, the fantastic new African Village features a new giraffe feeding area, a lemur walkthrough and a series of unique viewing towers, whilst also allowing people to get up close and personal with some of the most famous animals on the savannah.
Twinned with this is a new state-of-the-art lakeside colony, giving a fantastic new space for the park’s four lowland gorillas. Complete with a range of mature tress and laden in thick long grass, it’s the perfect place for them to relax outside in the sun; also using natural barriers where possible as opposed to fences and glass.
These new additions are set to be opened shortly, further boosting Longleat among the premier attractions for families to enjoy. If you are looking forward to a stay in any of our beautiful Wiltshire cottages in the coming weeks, why not come along and check out the great new improvements?
