There’s so much going on in Wiltshire this summer, we can’t wait to get out and about and visit...
December will be bringing all sorts of Christmas fairs to cities, towns and villages all across the UK, and those staying in English country cottages in Herefordshire can get a taste of a Victorian style Christmas in Leominster.
The Leominster Victorian Christmas Market on 8th December will see about 100 stallholders sell their Christmas wares whilst dressed in traditional Victorian clothing, with plenty of street entertainment to suit the era. Morris dancing, a brass band, children's roundabout and barrel organ will accompany the vendors lining Corn Square and Broad Street.
There will be plenty of crafts and gifts to take home for decoration or to pass on to a loved one, and local and seasonal produce can add a wonderful touch to any festive feast this Christmas. Take a step back into the Christmas of Dickens' time from 10am-4pm on 8th December for a day out that is sure to be entertaining. Entry is free, as is the park and ride from Brightwells, so there is plenty of reason to head to the Leominster Victorian Christmas Market.
