There’s so much going on in Wiltshire this summer, we can’t wait to get out and about and visit...
The town of Hastings is one of the most popular places to visit for those staying in Sussex cottages thanks to its historical importance, and September brings even more reason to visit the town: Hastings Seafood and Wine Festival.
From 15th-16th September, Stade Open Space in Hastings Old Town will be transformed into a seafood, wine and music spectacular. Thousands of people are expected to come to the festival this year in a celebration of Hastings’ local fishing heritage, vineyards and food producers.
Over 40 stalls will be offering visitors the chance to taste all kinds of locally produced food, and local chefs will even be preparing some delicious seafood right in front of the crowds. There will also be plenty of food and wine themed activities for the chance to learn more about local food and have fun at the same time.
Street entertainment will be on hand from international sensation The Bros Uchenko and The Ugs. Children are provided for too with fascinating fishy tales told by Mary Dawson and Kevin Graal.
