Bath is a wonderful place to visit, well-known for its wonderful architecture and Roman baths that make a holiday to the area special. The picturesque setting is world-famous for appearing in movies and is about to be even more so; the final scene of a highly-anticipated feature film was filmed there last weekend.
Bath’s Grand Parade became the site for the shooting of the final scene for Les Miserables, and the beautiful architecture was lit up by huge lights in order for them to film a complex stunt in the water.
Les Miserables is due to be released in cinemas on 11th January and stars Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham-Carter. The movie promises to be an amazing big-screen adaptation of one of the greatest musicals ever, and the stunning architecture of Bath makes the ideal setting to film the movie.
