There’s so much going on in Wiltshire this summer, we can’t wait to get out and about and visit...
If you’re enjoying one of the many Dorset cottage holidays in the Lyme Regis area this New Year's, there's a fantastic annual charitable event set to take place: the Lyme Lunge.
The Lyme Lunge is setup by the local Rotary Club and sees hundreds of people in fancy dress take the plunge into the local waters on New Year's Day, all in aid of charity. Whether you fancy taking part yourself, or just want to watch from the shores, the annual event makes for quite a sight.
The dip into the balmy waters of Lyme Bay kicks off at 1pm on the 1st and it should make for an exciting day out for all the family. If you're in the town on New Year's Day, you can also take part in the town's Grand Duck Race, a local tradition which sees yellow plastic ducks raced down the River Lym.
