There’s so much going on in Wiltshire this summer, we can’t wait to get out and about and visit...
Bournemouth's first ever outdoor ice rink was opened yesterday and is expected to be a hit with both locals and those currently enjoying Dorset cottage holidays. If the official opening ceremony was anything to go by, the ice rink is going to be returning for a number of years yet.
The ice rink was officially opened yesterday afternoon by professional Dancing on Ice skater Michael Zenezini and his skating partner Katalin Szakal, who took to the ice for a show-stopping routine, complete with sparkling costumes. Michael Zenezini told the crowds that he hopes everyone enjoys skating on the rink as much as he does and that it is great fun for all of the family.
The ice rink can be found in Bournemouth's Lower Gardens and will be running until 6th January, so there is plenty of time to get your skates on. With enough room for 100 skaters and tickets at just £8.50 for adults and £7.50 for children, there is no better way to get into the festive spirit whilst on holiday in Dorset.
