Autumn brings thoughts of the harvest season, and from 20th-21st October, Middle Farm in Sussex will be celebrating the great British apple.
The annual Apple Festival brings in thousands every year and 2012 looks to be exactly the same. There is plenty planned for the day, including 2 stages of live bands, Morris dancing, a puppet show, hot and cold food, and funfair. Of course, there is an apple theme throughout everything, and to celebrate the apple there will be apple pressing demonstrations, a cider bar and apple selling stalls.
This year’s Apple Festival looks like it will be fantastic fun for anyone staying in holiday cottages in Sussex and locals too, so make sure to head to Middle Farm this October for one of the most popular events in East Sussex. Tickets are available on the door but are cheaper when purchased in advance; visit the Apple Festival website to get tickets and find out more information.
