Those staying in Wiltshire cottages in the run up to Easter can enjoy a family fun day out at Stourhead Garden this month, and whilst the children get stuck into lots of fun and games during the Cadbury's Easter Egg Trail, adults can enjoy the peace and quiet of the beautiful 1,072-hectare estate.
The Cadbury's Easter Egg Trail will be running from 23 March to 7 April, and with spring beginning to settle in the UK, there could not be a better time to get the kids outdoors and hunting for chocolate treats. As well as the various chocolate trails, there will be giant games, face-painting and even more chocolate to keep the kids busy.
Whilst the kids are enjoying themselves, the rest of the grounds of Stourhead Garden are ready to be explored, right from the world-famous landscape gardens to the magnificent Palladian mansion. Open from 11am to 4pm, normal admission charges apply, plus £2.50 per trail.
