Students from the University of Bath and sweet experts from The Fudge Kitchen have come together to create a new fudge flavour that is only available at the shop in Bath.
A number of the many shoppers in Bath were invited to suggest weird and wonderful ideas for fudge flavours, all of which were then put into a hat. The winning suggestion that was pulled out became their new fudge flavour.
Nick Hutchinson from The Fudge Kitchen said that he was a bit apprehensive about which idea would be pulled out as some ingredients, such as raspberries, do not set well. Some of the flavour ideas included green tea, avocado and Eton Mess, but the overall winner turned out to be Haribo.
The winning fudge was a success, and there are hopes that visitors to Bath staying in English country cottages will be able to buy this innovative new flavour from The Fudge Kitchen soon.
