You’re not going to run out of exciting things to do and places to go in Dorset, but when...
Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival is gearing up for its Autumn offering, and those staying in Sussex cottages can look forward to 10 fun-filled days of events from 7th-16th September.
Some of the scheduled events include a Children’s Food Festival, Cocktail masterclass, and sushi and sake workshop. During the Live Food Show, some of Brighton’s top chefs will be showcasing their cookery skills, perfect for a bit of food inspiration.
There are plenty of food related fun and games to try out as well, such as ‘Wobblegate Wobblympics’, an apple juice and cider assault course, or Sussex cheese bowling, a game of bowls that uses various cheeses!
On 8th-9th September will be the key part of every food festival: the market. There will be over 80 stalls featuring local growers, producers and restaurants, and thousands of visitors are expected to turn up for some great deals.
The festival is the biggest of its kind in the south of England and draws in huge crowds every year. There is no better time than harvest season to celebrate local food and drink, so get stuck in and see what wonderful produce there is to discover.
