Pennant Cottage is peacefully situated, the only cottage a ¼ mile down a track, surrounded by farmland and with far reaching views towards the sea and the rugged North Cornwall coast. It is 2 miles inland from the fishing harbour at Port Isaac (a footpath leads down to the sea from the cottage - OS map advisable) and is close to the hamlet of St Endellion, well known for its church and annual music festival.
The surrounding area offers tremendous scope for the holidaymaker. There are magnificent sandy beaches - Daymer Bay on the Camel Estuary and Polzeath, a surfer's paradise - walking and bike riding on the Camel trail, golf (3 courses nearby) and horse riding. Padstow, home to Rick Stein's famous seafood restaurant, Boscastle Harbour (National Trust) and the clifftop ruins of Tintagel Castle, legendary birthplace of King Arthur, are among the many visitor attractions on this part of North Cornwall's dramatic coastline. Port Isaac itself is a typical Cornish fishing village with colour washed stone cottages lining twisting streets and alleyways. There are several good pubs and eating houses where locally caught crab and lobster are a speciality.
Pennant Cottage provides a bright and welcoming home to return to each day. It is very tastefully and attractively furnished with a well-equipped kitchen. The small, private walled garden is particularly inviting for a relaxing barbecue, watching spectacular sunsets.

Comments from previous visitors to Pennant Cottage.
"Your cottage is beautiful and such a delight to be in. We loved the view and had cosy nights with a roaring fire! Of course Port Isaac and Daymer Bay were really lovely too, so thank you very much for a really enjoyable stay!" Emma Morris, November 2007
