Architect designed, it stands in the grounds of the owner's own fascinating house, which has been converted from a former church, and enjoys a peaceful outlook over the adjoining bluebell woodland at the rear. Visitors have the use of the owner's extensive landscaped grounds with a large wildlife pond and an arbour, overlooking fields, with views to the Alton Barnes 'White Horse' in the distance. There is immediate access onto footpaths while trout fishing, tennis, golf and horse riding are all available locally.

The Pewsey Vale is well known for its rural, undulating landscape, which is rich in archaeological and prehistoric sites - Silbury Hill, Avebury Stone Circle, Kennet Long Barrow and various 'White Horses' carved in chalk on the surrounding downland. The nearby Kennet & Avon Canal offers narrow boat trips and the ancient Savernake Forest is good for walks and picnics. Stonehenge is 9 miles away and within an hour's driving distance are Bath, Oxford, Salisbury and The Cotswolds. Pewsey 3 miles has local shops and a main line train service to London, Paddington, while the ancient market towns of Devizes, 9 miles, Marlborough, 10 miles, and Hungerford, 17 miles are well known for their antique shops, good pubs and restaurants.
