At Hideaways we offer a carefully chosen selection of english country cottages, country homes, farmhouses and apartments in rural and coastal settings and in historic towns and cities throughout the West Country, Wessex, the South East and the Heart of England.
Our current selection of self-catering holiday cottages for rent spans 12 different counties with West Country cottages in Devon, Somerset and Cornwall, several character cottages in Kent and Sussex and a particularly wide selection of period cottages, farmhouses and apartments in Wiltshire (including the cathedral city of Salisbury), Dorset and Hampshire, where we offer a special selection of cottages in and around the New Forest. We also have several cottage rentals within easy reach of London, in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey.
Moving northwards, we feature cottages in scenic areas such as The Cotswolds, The Forest of Dean, The Wye Valley, Herefordshire and the Welsh borders and we also include Visit Britain star rated accommodation in Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon and Ludlow.

Most cottages are for rent throughout the year and there is flexibility on the length of stay, so whether you're looking for a weekend short break of a few nights or an extended self-catering holiday of a month or more, we can help.
Many Hideaways cottages are of a particularly high standard and offer period character combined with excellent facilities. Currently included in our portfolio are several cottages of a luxury standard, large farmhouses sleeping up to 12, and a number of idyllic thatched cottages, which combine character and atmosphere with the practical conveniences of modern living.
