Personal Holiday Insurance

We have arranged a special insurance scheme with Travel Insurance specialists P J Hayman & Company Ltd to cover clients booking through us. This insurance is underwritten by ELVIA Travel Insurance International N.V. (Netherlands) and is administered in the UK by Mondial Assistance (UK) Ltd. All members of your party will be covered unless you inform Hideaways that you do not require cover, or, for Personal Accident cover, if persons exceed the limit of 75 years of age. Non-UK Nationals will only be covered for cancellation and curtailment. The cost of insurance is included within the price of your holiday.

Summary of Cover

The following is a summary of cover only and does not contain the full terms and conditions of the contract. Full terms, conditions and exclusions can be found in the certificate of insurance, which you should read carefully. These will be sent to you with your Confirmation of Booking or at any time on request.

You are automatically covered under the Cancellation Section as soon as you make your initial payment to Hideaways. Cover ends on the last day of your holiday. For other sections cover starts from the time you leave your home in the UK and ends when you return to it.

You may cancel the cover within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund of premium provided you have not travelled, made a claim or intend to make a claim. If you do not cancel the policy within 14 days you will be liable for the full insurance premium.
