Dating back to the 1600’s, Grade II listed Yeomans still has the look and feel of an ancient dwelling, its original brick and timber exterior and heavily beamed main sitting room with large inglenook being real features of this property. The cottage will suit anyone looking for something with genuine character and provides plenty of space for a larger group; there are two sitting rooms, a separate study with WiFi broadband internet access and a practical, fitted kitchen, which is open plan to a convivial dining area.

Yeomans is located a little way up a lane, which peters out into a bridle path and eventually leads to West Tytherley village with good local country pub. This an ideal base for exploring the surrounding Hampshire countryside on foot, horseback or cycle, with secure bike storage provided at the cottage. There are numerous attractions within easy driving distance – the historic Cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester, the Naval Dockyard at Portsmouth ( HMS Victory and Mary Rose), Broadlands House, Mottisfont Abbey, Marwell Zoo and the unique landscape of the New Forest National Park – only about 20 minutes away.

Entrance into the ‘snug’, the smaller of the two sitting rooms with double sofa bed. Main, large heavily beamed sitting room with inglenook fireplace containing a woodburner. Access to study. Large farmhouse kitchen with fitted units and table and chairs for 8 guests. Door to back lobby, adjoining utility room and a downstairs shower room/wc. Steep stairs lead up to 1st floor landing with space for a cot. Four bedrooms – one double, two twin bedrooms and one single. Bathroom/wc with cast iron bath. Wash basin on adjacent landing area. NB. some low beams and doorways.

Large garden to the front and rear of the cottage with lawned areas, pathways and an orchard. Secure bike storage.
