Well Cottage is situated in the conservation area of the peaceful country village of Bradpole, a mile and a half from the coastal market town of Bridport and only 2 miles from West Bay. The owners have taken care in refurbishing the cottage to a high specification, there are quality fitted carpets, matching fabrics and there is considerable attention to detail.
The cottage is ideally placed for exploring the West Dorset coastline with its superb coastal walks. To the west, the sandy beach at Charmouth is 7 miles. At Lyme Regis, 10 miles, there is a long sandy beach and there are rockpools to delight the children; fishermen still unload their catch at "The Cobb", Lyme's 600' quay and the famous "Undercliff" has long been popular with fossil collectors. About 15 miles to the east of Bradpole, Abbotsbury, popular for fishing from the Chesil beach, has a swannery and large sub-tropical gardens. Inland, you can visit Cricket St Thomas wildlife park and there are several golf courses within easy reach.
Access via 4 steps from parking area or via a pathway avoiding steps to entrance.

The cottage is all at ground floor level. Large lounge/dining room with open fireplace containing antique woodburning stove. Fitted kitchen. Twin bedroom with en suite shower room/w.c. Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom/w.c. and shower over bath.
Garden area to the front of the cottage and by the thatched well (secured and not a hazard for children).
