Designed to very high specifications (Visit Britain 5 stars), this large, contemporary house stands in three acres of grounds just a mile from Itchenor’s pretty sailing harbour and 2 miles from West Wittering beach.

The house is ideally situated for exploring a beautiful stretch of the Sussex coastline. Chichester Harbour, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is particularly renowned for its sailing and as a nature reserve for migrant and wading birds, while the beaches of East and West Wittering reveal long expanses of sand at low tide and are also a mecca for windsurfers. Explore this well conserved area on foot or take the solar powered catamaran from Itchenor Hard. A short drive inland are Chichester with its magnificent cathedral, attractive shopping precincts and Festival Theatre, and Goodwood with its busy year round calendar of events. Beyond Goodwood, the South Downs offer superb walking on the South Downs Way.

Characterised by its timber-clad exterior and impressive glass atrium on the south side, it offers versatile accommodation on three floors including an exceptionally large and very light drawing room (7 x 12 metres), where guests - up to a maximum of 14 - can congregate and dine in style at the large oak refectory table (special "celebration dinners" can be arranged). The house looks out across a wild flower meadow and an extensive area of lawn (croquet set provided). There is also extensive decking to two sides of the house. Inside it has been designed to very high specifications with polished oak and limestone floors throughout.
