The Old Dairy is a high class conversion from a former byre in a courtyard setting of 18th century farm buildings. It is close to the River Rother and is only a mile and a half from Petworth, famous for its antique shops and one of several interesting small towns in this delightful part of West Sussex.
The well managed surrounding countryside is some of the finest in this part of England, now forming part of The South Downs National Park and offering superb opportunities for walking. Attractions for the visitor within half an hour's drive include Petworth House (important paintings), Goodwood House with its year round calendar of events including Glorious Goodwood, The Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival meeting, Arundel Castle, theatres and cathedrals at Chichester and Guildford, local golf courses, polo at Cowdray Park, hot air ballooning, riding and fishing locally by arrangement. South coast beaches are approximately 15 miles away.
All at ground floor level, The Old Dairy is spacious and full of charm; there are exposed beams and old country pine furniture and the accommodation has deservedly been awarded a Visit Britain 4 Star grading.
